Hand Sawing a Slab Table

When the power went out at the shop, I turned to my trusty Japanese Ryoba hand saw to keep progressing through this project. I learned a lot from the process, primarily to keep the saw blade well oiled. You can literally see how much faster the saw moves after I oiled it.

One of the wonderful things about working with our hands is that when the power goes out, we keep working.  Here, I am hand sawing a live edge slab table.
